Time Corridors
Remember
the days of old, consider the years of many generations:
ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders,
and they will tell thee. (Deuteronomy 32:7)
Welcome to one of the most
popular destinations in the Voyager Islands! (Click
colosseum icon in upper left corner for a fun intro!)
You will discover that the villagers of the Isle
of Yesteryear are some of the wisest folk in the
kingdom. Not only do they live to be very old (and
so have learned a great deal), but they have made
it their aim to gather to their island the accounts
of earlier generations, that others may benefit
from such knowledge. Their great work, the renovated
Colosseum, is a monumental transformation of
a vast ancient ruin into a splendid museum of Christian
history, with time corridors winding for miles beneath
its structure.
Now
all these things happened unto them for examples:
and they are written for our admonition, upon whom
the ends of the world are come. (1 Cor 10:11)
The Colosseum is fast
becoming known as an orienteering training center
for novice voyagers. As voyagers venture down through
the long corridors into various places of the past,
they encounter stories of earlier voyagers who made
their own journeys many generations ago. Those voyagers
of old endured great hardship, some scarcely able
to finish their course, while others giving up before
the end. Still others, before whom every obstacle
fell, forged ahead in the most remarkable ways.
All these accounts are to be found on the frescoed
walls within each hewn corridor of the Colosseum.
At the top of each page you
will find a portal to these time corridors. Select
your corridor and enjoy your journey!
